Well, I am in the thick of an extrasolar planet atmosphere, computing rho, tau, kappa, and other greek symbols. I am going to finish my Ph.D. work by 31 October, so I probably won't write much until then. I hope everyone is enjoying the autumn.
I received my PhD in astrophysics from the University of St Andrews in 2007. My research covered searching for extrasolar planets and simulating their atmospheres with a three dimensional monte carlo code. I've worked as a researcher at NASA and the Carnegie Institute of Washington, though now I work in the technology industry.
